Raising PTSD and suicide awareness through an annual charity event. SUP Northwest started SUP4NWBB in 2017 to raise awareness of the benefits of service animals to veterans, suffering from PTSD. We have raised over $56,000 to provide assistance in training these animals, to be provided to the veterans, free of charge. Through exploring t

We have raised over $56,000 to provide assistance in training these animals, to be provided to the veterans, free of charge. Through exploring the Columbia River via paddleboard and sharing the adventure along the way, we are able to bring attention to a great cause and show support in honor of our nation’s veterans.

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our veterans. Our mission is to raise awareness of PTSD and it’s links to veteran suicide rates, the benefits of service animals in helping veterans with PTSD, inspire struggling veterans to thrive, and raise funding to provide support for Northwest Battle Buddies.
